Phone Activation & SIM Card Setup Simplified

Phone activation and SIM card setup might seem overwhelming, but at SafetyNet Wireless, we strive to simplify the process for our users. PHONE FROM SAFETYNET WIRELESS

If you have a new SafetyNet Wireless Phone and new phone number, your phone has been shipped with the SIM card INSERTED and ACTIVATED. Your new phone is ready to be enjoyed. It’s that simple!

BRING YOUR OWN PHONE

Follow the steps below if you are bringing your own device and/or phone number.

Step 1. Insert Your SIM Card

The SafetyNet Wireless SIM Card Kit provides all the necessary tools for installing your new SIM card.

First, locate your phone’s SIM card slot, which can be found under your phone’s back cover or in a tray on the side or top panel. Use the SIM card ejector tool provided in your kit to remove your current SIM card.

Next, choose the appropriate SIM card size that fits your phone’s tray. Insert the new SIM card into your phone’s SIM slot, close the tray, and power on your phone.

Step 2. Reset The Phone

To start a network reset, access your phone’s settings (Look For The Gear icon).

For Android devices, navigate to Settings, tap on Reset or Network Settings. Select Network Reset and follow the on-screen prompts.

For iPhone, go to Settings, tap General. Scroll down and select Reset, then tap Network Reset Settings. Enter your iPhone password and confirm the reset.

Step 3. Transfer your phone number

To transfer your number,

1. Ensure your current number remains active.

2. Clear any outstanding balances with your current carrier.

3. Confirm your phone is unlocked.

4. Confirm no other ports are in progress.

When You’re Ready, SafetyNet Wireless takes over!

After completing the necessary preparations for number porting above, call our customer service from your new phone, and we’ll handle the entire process for you.

Can I Retain My Temporary Number?

Certainly! You have the option to keep the temporary number linked to your new SIM Card.
Alternatively, you can transfer your cherished existing number by following the instructions provided.
